Bad Dreams....

So anyone that knows Nate knows he LOVES his bike! He rides it to work everyday where it sits in one of his attendings offices and waits for Nate! He cleans it everytime he goes on a ride, and after he is done with the ride. He LOVES his bike.

The other night I was up feeding Chase at 2 am and Nate rolls over and says something....I just assumed he was talking in his sleep as he often does. Then he said it again, "I had a bad dream!" My response, "I'm sorry, what was it about?" I was mostly expecting him to just fall back asleep, or if he did respond it would be about Chase! Nope, he responds with a very serious and concerned voice, "Somebody stole my bike!"

After he went to the garage and checked the safety of his bike he was able to go back to sleep!

Mommy's little helper!

That smile says it all, he is so much fun! He loves going wherever I go, so he has become my little pal in the kitchen! He sits and waits for me to look at him and everytime he gives me one of these adorable smiles!

Even though Graduation was 2 months ago, we just got all of the pictures from Nate's Dad! I thought you all might like to see them! It was such a fun day!

Lucky 7

I can't believe tomorrow marks 7 years! The saying "time flies when you're having fun" definetly applies to us. I feel so lucky to have found Nate! He is my best friend, my biggest support, and now he is proving to be the best father! Thanks for all the fun, happiness, and love that you give me! Happy Anniversary babe!

Happy 4 month birthday Chase!

I can't believe he's already 4 months old! He is just getting more fun everyday! I could have never imagined the love I have for this little guy. I was holding him today singing "You are my Sunshine", I wasn't really paying attention, then I looked down at him and he had a big grin looking at me with pure love in his eyes. I thought to myself, these are the moments I have waited, hoped, and prayed for, and I can't put it into words how much I am treasuring each one of them. There hasn't been a moment that has gone by that I haven't thought, I can't believe he is here! This is amazing! I am so happy, so lucky, and so blessed to have him! 4 months down, and a lifetime of happiness, love, hugs, and kisses to look forward to!

All is right with the world

So for some crazy reason people out here don't think we need air conditioning? I don't understand it, but that is just the way that it is. We have these very attractive window air conditioning units...but they just aren't that wonderful.

Chase hasn't been sleeping well at all since we've been here, I'm talking he would wake up every hour or less! Hello....not working for me! So I finally pulled my head out of the sand and realized he's hot! We have been very creative in finding ways to get cool air back to his room and since then he has been back to sleeping like a little angel that he is! I finally am starting to feel like all is right with the world again!

Seriously...?

So I don't know if I've just had bad luck with bugs, or if bugs are just going to be more of a problem for me out here? So when we moved here one of the first things my mom did was go around and spray for bugs both outside and in. Everytime she would see an ant I would see her go straight for the spray! She did such a good job that I haven't had to think much about the strange little bugs we were finding.


Well, yesterday we were walking into the grocery store and suddenly my forehead started to itch, then the right side of my face, then my right ear! Then I started to swell...in the grocery store! I never found what bit me multiple times, I like to think it was an innocent little mosquito--even though I know it wasn't.


I have been working on our flower beds that have been overtaken by "Day Lillies" -- which I don't really like, but these yucky little Japanese Beetles sure like them. I'm resonably certain every Japanese Beetle in Vermont was living inside of these plants. Needless to say they were very unhappy when I came in with the shovel, and they let me know it!

As if that wasn't enough, I was washing our sheets today and when I pulled back the top sheet....there was A DEAD BUG! So needless to say I have been feeling bugs crawling on me all day! GROSS!

She finally did it!

So before Chase was born, Macey was really into exploring his room! There was one night we couldn't find Macey anywhere, then I had a lightbulb go off and I thought....she's in the crib! And sure enough there she was sound asleep. Well, we thought we were home free since he's 3 months old and she hasn't jumped in again....wrong! At 5:30 am I heard a loud noise followed by Chase screaming, which is very uncharacteristic of him! So I walked into his room to see him with his BIG blue eyes and Macey quickly snuggling up to him and his blankets! I don't really think she'll do it again, Chase screaming may have terrified her enough to keep her out! It was quite a sight!

Good bye Utah....hello Vermont!

I never really had time to sit and think about the upcoming move for my little family since Chase decided to make his debut a couple of hours after we found out Nate matched here at Dartmouth. Now that all of our stuff is here, we're all finally here, and my mom has left I have a lot of time to sit and think....! First of all I am really excited to have this chance to live in such a great place. We found a great house that we love, it's in a wonderful neighborhood, and we are meeting a lot of great friends. It is definetly where we are supposed to be right now....but that being said I still miss Utah and everyone that is there that I love! I just want to let you all know how much I love and will miss you. Please remember us out here in Vermont! I have a little slideshow of pictures from before we left, and then some of us here so you all know where we are. Koffords...I didn't have my camera when we all got together at Cassi's--it was already here in Vermont. If you have any pictures from our last get together's I would love to have copies!!! I love you all!
