We had such a fun day yesterday celebrating Chase's 1st birthday superhero style! His super talented Auntie Angie made Chase, Nate, and Chase's friends superhero capes. They all looked so stinking cute. 
We got Chase this super cool bike. He LOVES it. There is a harness and a bar that goes around him while he is small, and then we he is bigger you can take that off and it is a little trike. Seriously cute, and seriously smart.
I am one lucky mommy! I just love him to pieces.
Chase devoured his birthday cupcake. While he was enjoying every last crumb, his little feet were kicking with excitement. We all had a great day! Thank you to all of you that came to celebrate with us!

What a fun birthday! Looks like you had a ball! And yes! Your dad would hold his breath and bite his tongue if he saw Nate throw him so high in the air. I can see Chase loved it. Happy Birthday! 12 more days and we're on our way! We can't wait. Love you tons, mom

i love the flying chaser photo!! perfect! what a fun party!! it's been such a blast watching him grow up this year. hard to imagine him getting cuter by the day, but he manages it well!!! :)
What a handsome litte man! Can't believe he is already one! Looks like a very fun party, wish we could have been there. If I had my "CRAP" together I would have sent his present on time, but it seems I have lost it and can't find it so his gift will be coming with mom and dad next week. I hope he likes it. We love you and miss you all.
