My oh my time flies when you are having 'fun'. It's a good thing these two are so stinking cute, because...wow! This is really hard! Twins are A LOT of work, I mean A LOT of work. I'd be lying if I said I'm loving every minute of this, I could really do without being up all night every night..for the last 8 weeks. But I am sure loving every minute of the daytime...for some reason sleep deprivation is a lot easier to handle when the sun is up. Why do I live in Vermont, where the sun never shines in the winter? These sweet little babes have yet to really figure out that night time means we sleep. I really, really miss sleep. Like, really.
Sleep or no sleep, we are so in love with these boys. They have managed to make my heart grow in ways I never thought possible. They are perfect. Completely perfect.

I have most definitely not been doing this alone. I was SO lucky to have my mom here for the first 4.5 weeks. And then my dad came for 2 of those weeks. Oh, and he drove 36 hours straight to get here with our new car we bought from them--I love my dad, he is so amazing. How I wish they could have stayed forever. Everything was just easier. They took such great care of me and my family as we all adjusted to these 2 little bundles. My parents really are the best. THE BEST.
Superwoman. She was my rock. She still is, even from across the country. I love you, mom.

the best...
Didn't want to leave this little lady out. Is it weird that I was not at all surprised to find my dog sleeping here?
This is me, after I found the magic make-up that covers the dark circles under my eyes!
Nate with his littlest buddies
Chase has really been the easiest part of this. He loves his babies...sometimes a little too much. He mimics everything we do with them, it is so sweet to watch him try to swaddle them and pat them when they are sad. He is still the best. I love you, Chase.
Christmas was obviously extra special for our family this year. We felt such a sweet spirit in our home.
My little man LOVES trains. I'm pretty sure it is all he thinks about. He was pretty excited to see Santa heard about how much he loves trains, he really delivered this year!
One thing most people don't know about Nate is that he loves to match/coordinate clothing with Chase. Whenever Nate is home these 2 are usually perfectly coordinated and look completely adorable. Chase has recently started to notice, he was so excited when he saw that he and daddy got matching jackets for Christmas.
All dressed and ready to go shovel with Bop.

My dad was a rockin' hockey player 'back in the day' :) and proved he still is! Go dad! And seriously...go Chase! He was hilarious...he eventually just laid down on the ice and nearly fell asleep.
Life is crazy, but good. Really good.

Oh,they are so cute. I still want to come up and see you guys. I didn't want to bring my kids that are very active. I think that would be too much for you. I was waiting to give you guys a gift cause I thought that there was a chance we would come up and see you guys. But that is not looking like it will be soon. So expect something in the mail.
I'm so glad you guys had your family there with you. They seem like they are the best.
Take care
Kaylene

I am way impressed that you could find a minute to blog! We are so happy to see new pictures of the babies. Way to be a champ Di, you look GREAT! What little sweethearts you have, I can't even imagine what your life is like, but we see you are still smiling and have all three of your little loves.

The new makeup is sure working for you Di. I don't know how you're getting through this newborn stage with such a good attitude but we sure are proud of you all! Just look at those little bugs--they ARE perfect! I absolutely love that skating rink. It's pure Vermont.

All of your kids are so cute. It is funny to hear Mindi and Kaylene talk about you. They always call you "my friend who just had twins or my friend a couple hours away". I think they forget I know you. I can see why you hung out with them. I love them and you. You have been so sweet to me and Bailee. She misses you and looks at your blog all the time. Your babies are so cute. I have to admit I am a little jealous (but no of the missed sleep). I was pregnant with twins last year and miscarried one. I love my new little boy but wonder sometimes what it would be like with two of them. Thanks for the insight. You look great. Keep up the good work.
