We have been so lucky to have Nate's Grandma Kofford come out and take care of us for the last 4 weeks! She has saved us more than she will ever know. At 79 years old, she feeds us, cares for Chase, cleans our house, does the grocery shopping, oh did I mention she feeds us? Because of her feeding us such amazing meals everyday, I have her to thank for my steady incline on the scale....I know it has to be done, but I'm seeing numbers I have never seen before-yikes!
After not leaving the house for 2 weeks, I finally convinced Nate and Grandma that I was ok for a quick visit to Quechee. Fall is magical here, and I was so upset to think that it was going to pass me by while I lay on the couch.
Chase LOVES trains. Like, a lot. He was so excited to ride on the train at Quechee, and watching him light up when he saw and rode on the train was just what we all needed. Thanks to Nate, Grandma, and some really great friends, the babies room is coming right along! The room is painted, the cribs are ready, the clothes are washed and put away, the carseats are ready, we found a new car, sold the Land Rover ( Nate is still recovering from the loss), now all we need are diapers and the babies--and from what my pediatrician told me yesterday, a nanny!
I love this boy! He just loves life. His sweet smile has kept me going during these past 5 weeks on bedrest...he is just the best.
This is a sneak peak at part of his halloween costume....
Watching him play with his Great Grandma Kofford is priceless. Since we moved to Vermont right after he was born, she rarely sees Chase. When she arrived it took no time for them to become the best of friends. She is simply amazing with how she keeps up with a very active 2.5 year old boy! We could never thank her enough for coming all the way from Utah with only 48 hours notice, for 5 weeks! That pretty sums up what an amazing women she is, and we are so lucky to have her!
As far as the babies go, all is looking really good! They are growing a lot, moving like crazy, and we are all falling more and more in love. We expect they will arrive within the next 3-4 weeks, but we would be pleasently surprised if they wait even longer! For now, we are just taking it one day at a time!
